googling things like “what is a good gre score” and “how do I know if I did okay on the GRE” isn’t really helpful
Yeah, you have to wait to see the actual percentiles to see how you REALLY did. But in my Princeton Review book there was a list of scores/percentiles that was pretty close to accurate.
I mean, I knew after I took my GRE that I wasn’t in the 98 percentile for English so my dreams of a PhD in English was over. I also knew I was not going to be a mathematician. SURPRISE!

1. I remember being terrified when those shootings were going on, even though I had no reason to be because we lived in Georgia at the time. but they would mention specific intersections/roads/whatever on the news and I’d remember where they were in relation to my old house. good story, right?
